This book is wonderful! Anne Frank would've been a spectacular author had she lived. We all know the story of the Frank's, but this book portrays a young girl and her life. Wonderful
Falling Leaves: Memoir of an Unwanted Child by Adeline Yen Mah is a captivating version of her Cinderella life. There are no happy fairy tale parts in this sad memoir of her life. Adeline Yen Mah writes her pain as an unwanted child in this wonderful book. Recommended ages 14 & up.

   
A sad story that is hard to relate to since none of us have been treated this way.
Go Ask Alice by Anonymous is a dark story of a girl who is offered a drink that is laced. Its the diary of her life spiraling out of control and she doesn't know what to do. A dark and riveting story I would recommend ages 16 & up

   
Go Ask Alice isn't a light read, its a book that makes you think, a lot.

Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a compelling story of mutilation, persecution, rejection, abandonment and sacrifice. Ayaan Hirsi Ali tells the painful story of her past.  Recommended ages 17  & up

   
This book is not a light book. It was dark and sad, like many biographies, it was enlightening and a good read.

My Life by Bill Clinton is about his life. His books starts out and talks about his life up to the presidency in 1000 pages. Recommended ages 18 & up.

Into The Wild by John Krakauer is a book about Chris McCandless. Chris McCandless is restless guy who doesn't know what he wants in life. He decides to travel to the wilderness of Alaska. Recommended ages 14 & up.

It has a really good beginning and middle. The end is a little dry but overall I liked it.
